How to Prepare Your Heart for Christmas as a Single Parent: Casting Your Cares
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” - 1 Peter 5:7
As a single parent, the holiday season can be a particularly challenging time. The added stress of planning, shopping, and preparing for festivities can feel overwhelming. However, it’s important to remember that you don’t have to shoulder this burden alone.
You’re not alone. Beauty4Ashes is a single parent ministry dedicated to providing resources and community for Christian single parents. We’ve created a chat room for prayer requests, where you can share your needs and receive support from fellow believers. Additionally, we’re excited to announce our upcoming prayer zooms, starting in January, which will be held twice a month. If you’re interested in joining, simply share your name and initials (e.g., Sara Praise - SP) in the chat room. We also provide events and activities to help you and your family connect and grow. A weekly Bible study will start in January, offering a flexible way to engage with God’s Word.
By connecting with other single parents, seeking support, and prioritizing self-care, you can navigate the holiday season with peace and joy. Let’s lean on each other, lift each other up, and find strength in our shared experiences. Please share this page with other single parents you know. Together, we can build a strong community of support and encouragement.
May the peace of the Lord be with you.
